Barbizon works with aspiring models, actors and entertainers. Barbizon models work throughout the tri-state area in television commercials, print, promotional events and more. Services offered include acting training and instruction for improvisation, cold reading and monologues. Model training and instruction includes personal development services such as interview skills, poise and etiquette.
Gymboree has a variety of classes for children ages newborn through five years old. Located at the River Plaza Firehouse, Gymboree offers learn and play classes, music, art and family classes and even has a school skills class to help children with the skills needed to adapt to school life. All the classes are aimed at encouraging childrens' development both physically and mentally. Session times vary, call or check website for class schedule. Open play gym is also held several times a week.
Art Alliance of Monmouth County was first established in 1978 and moved to its current location on Monmouth Street in 1992. The alliance has more than 300 members and rotates in new exhibitions monthly. In addition to member exhibitons, it also runs workshops and classes.
