Capitol's production slate includes Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Black Water Transit, Blackout, The Boys Are Back In Town, Getting Out, Love Ranch and Mary Quieen of SCOTS. David Bergstein acquired Capitol in 2006 and later acquired independent distributor ThinkFilm to strengthen Capitol's distribution. Capitol also has offices in London.

The Los Angeles Comedy Festival is an annual exhibition of comedic films and live performance. It also has a screenplay competition.

Through eight events, the festival claims to have showcased "1,700 performers and 300 films from Los Angeles and around the world" with an emphasis on "'discovering' great comedic talent and promoting it to both the entertainment industry and the Los Angeles public."

Performer applications, available online via the above weblink, are accepted throughout the year.

The festival runs for two weeks in May and periodically sponsors special events around the country. Mainstay venues are Theatre Asylum and the ACME Comedy Theatre.

The Carriage House, located just north of Hollywood Boulevard near Carlton Way Avenue, is a museum and business park. The gated complex is made up of five business suites containing the Patches Audio studio, the Six Point Harness Company and the Carriage House.  

The original carriage house was built in 1890 and has been renovated many times.  A large working fountain decorates the courtyard area which also has outdoor seating and horse head ties guard the entrance.  Inside there are antique carriages of all kinds, and art work from the turn of the century decorates the walls.  To visit the Carriage House, you must contact the management and set up an appointment.
