The landmark Avon Theatre, located at 272 Bedford Street in Stamford, was built in 1939 and restored in 2004. It is now a not-for-profit art house cinema. This location is the restored theater's business offices.

The Virginia Barrett Gallery has been dealing in paintings, sculptures and objets d'art since 1964. The eclectic collection includes paintings by AWS (American Watercolor Society) members and was voted "Best Fine Gallery." Some 300 works from artists such as Frank Dietrich, Robert Handville, Carlton Plummer and Barbara Kazella line the walls.
