The Pinellas Realtor Organization was formed during the 2002 merger of the Clearwater and Boards of Reators, and is now the Tampa Bay area's largest real estate professional organization, and one of the area's largest profressional trade associations, representing as many as 5,500 members as of 2011. The organization advances and promotes the real estate profession through professional development programs, government affairs, and political advocacy and maintains a high standard of conduct by real estate professionals through professional standards training and administration.
The Greater Palm Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesspeople who have come together to promote the community and its member businesses. This helps businesses within its purview flourish. Ostensibly, this benefit should trickle down to the community.
This Chamber also promotes community events like the annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival on the Chamber website.
The Tampa Federation of Garden Clubs is an organization comprised of 11 garden "circles" from neighborhoods across the city. More than 400 members participate in garden club activities with the mission of beautifying the neighborhoods in which the members live. The Federation's building stands on prime South Tampa real estate, fronting on Bayshore Boulevard and extending one full block in depth.
The Federation sponsors flower shows, garden tours, floral design classes and beautification projects throughout the city. The "Earthly Paradise Garden Tour" in the spring is one of the most popular events and helps raise funds to maintain the Fred Ball Park that is adjacent to the Federation location.
Elks Lodge No. 2284 is part of a foundation made up of a network of lodges around the country. Each lodge brings communities together by offering scholarships, meals, summer camps, entertainment and other activities.
