Girls Incorporated of Sarasota is the local affiliate of the national non-profit organization Girls Inc. It provides area residents with an array of educational services specifically targeted towards young girls. Established in 1973, Girls Inc. offers after-school and summertime educational programs which focus on literacy, math, science, career and life planning, health, leadership and community action.

Shriners International is a fraternity based on fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. The fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life and the local branch was chartered in 1982. The Sahib Shriners offer a member business directory, which is comprised of attorneys, accountants, photographers, contractors, home improvement companies, insurance providers and financial services. The group has a restaurant open for the public and also offers a facility that is available for rent for all types of occasions, including meetings, conventions, private groups and social organizations. The facility is comprised of a grand ballroom with room for more than 400 guests and a main hall that can be used for parties, weddings, anniversaries and class reunions. Banquet services include a full service bar, a full kitchen, a buffet, cocktail services and fine dining meal options.
Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee offers a wide variety of educational, cultural and spiritual services to the community and is dedicated to improving the lives of Jewish people both locally and around the world and providing education and awareness to the non-Jewish population. Selby Gardens is a 9.5-acre bay-front property run by a not-for-profit institution to foster understanding and appreciation of tropical plants. There are over 20,000 living plants, including 6,000 orchids in the gardens. The Selby Gardens research staff is internationally recognized for its botanical research and plant identification.
This property houses the council headquarters for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, which serves more than 10,000 girls ages 5 - 17 throughout ten counties. It also has a fully functioning Girl Scout Shop where supplies, uniforms, sashes, vests, books and awards can be purchased. Orders can be phoned, faxed, emailed or purchased online. Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for this facility.
Located on Magnolia Street, Southside Baptist Church was founded in 1956 and currently has about 300 members in the congregation. The church provides a parking lot on-site and offers bible study groups and youth programs as well as choir.
