This Masonic Lodge was founded in 1975 and continues to serve members in the Waters Avenue area. The hall is available for rental to host parties, wedding receptions and other private events. For members, dinner is hosted every Monday at 6:30 p.m. with meetings at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Fifth Mondays are family night.
The Junior League of Tampa consists of a diverse group of women from around the Tampa area who are dedicated to improving the community by working with charitable organizations that focus on improving health, safety and education in the area. The Tampa Federation of Garden Clubs is an organization comprised of 11 garden "circles" from neighborhoods across the city. More than 400 members participate in garden club activities with the mission of beautifying the neighborhoods in which the members live. The Federation's building stands on prime South Tampa real estate, fronting on Bayshore Boulevard and extending one full block in depth.
The Federation sponsors flower shows, garden tours, floral design classes and beautification projects throughout the city. The "Earthly Paradise Garden Tour" in the spring is one of the most popular events and helps raise funds to maintain the Fred Ball Park that is adjacent to the Federation location.
Now in its 25th year, Carrollwood Area Business Association supports local businesses by connecting them with each other through free weekly network meetings at different member locations, spring and fall expos, an interactive website that includes business profiles, blogs, newsletters and more.
