Battle Grove Democratic Club was started in 1933 and is one of the most active political groups in Maryland. It has more than 750 members currently. It is a private club, and in order to gain entry to the building, you must swipe your club card. Otherwise, if you are not a member, there is a buzzer you can ring to talk to someone.

The Baltimore County Police Community Relations Council is an association focused on improving the relationship between the local community and police precinct No. 12. This council is based in Dundalk. Monthly meetings are held to address community issues having to do with the police precinct. The Association of Maryland Pilots celebrates the rich history of Maryland's harbors while providing support and resources to today's pilots throughout the state. This does not refer to airplane pilots, but rather the older tradition of nautical pilots who help ships navigate into and out of shipping ports. Dundalk Sail & Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadron, is a non-profit boating fraternity that teaches and promotes safe boating. It offers basic and advanced courses. Once you pass the basic boating course, you have the option of joining its unit and taking more advanced classes. In addition, it offers vessel safety checks.
