ALS Association is a national organization with locations in Michigan. It offers services in advocacy, community service, education and support for individuals and families dealing with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's disease. It also has a research program. Its local Troy office is led by Kristen Munyan, RN, MSN-Ed. It has an additional location in Grand Rapids.
HBA is an organization focused on promoting and supporting businesses in the Highland and White Lake Townships. By supporting our local businesses, it promotes employment, schools, community outreach and local non-profits. The Highland-White Lake Business Association is also open to any community service leader or area resident that is interested in making a positive impact in our community
Berkley American Legion Post is a community organization that has been serving the needs of veterans and families for more than 70 years. This location is an active post and supports many activities for veterans and community needs including community service and charitable events. Two halls are available for rent and include a bar and dance floor. The smaller hall can hold up to 100 guests while the larger room can hold up to 200.
