The Missouri Coalition for The Environment (MCE) works to protect and restore the environment through education, public engagement and legal action. MCE focuses its advocacy efforts on clean water, air quality and open spaces. In conjunction with local universities and environmental organizations MCE pursues an agenda designed to advance issues of environmental significance.
The Regional Art Commission (RAC) is a cultural catalyst in the St. Louis area, providing financial, technical, promotional and other support for arts organizations. RAC aims to promote and encourage art and cultural institutions in St. Louis City and County and to contribute to the economic development of the area. RAC's mission is to create an environment that nurtures artists as well as arts and cultural organizations. The organization also rents out space in the building for parties, meetings, studios and art exhibits.
As part of the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society is concerned with the awareness and education of all dental issues. A non-profit group established in 1856, the society offers seminars and public speaking engagements for the continuing education of St. Louis dentists and dental students.
