Empowering Women is a one-day training designed to teach women business owners the importance of becoming involved in public policy, why it is important to know your elected officials before you need them, how to become a resource to your elected officials, and to teach the steps necessary to accomplish this goal. PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS IEEW believes that when women are allowed to participate equally and fully in business, then that country has a much greater capacity for economic stability and peace. During its 25-year history, Feed The Children has created and developed one of the worlds largest private organizations dedicated to feeding hungry people.Feed The Children is a Christian, international, nonprofit relief organization with headquarters in Oklahoma City, Okla., that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disaster. Feed The Childrens wholly-owned subsidiary, FTC Transportation, picks up in-kind contributions from corporate warehouses and then brings them back to one of five Feed The Children regional distribution centers. Some of the donations are then distributed in bulk and others are processed into individual relief boxes. In one year, Feed The Children shipped 146 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and families in all 50 states and in 57 foreign countries. Feed The Children supplemented 1,040,710 meals a day, worldwide.

About AACO Apartment Association of Central Oklahoma was founded in 1976 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. AACO is a not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to unifying rental housing professionals through education, legislative reform and member services. The current membership of the association range from property owners, builders and developers, professional management companies, on-site staffs (mangers, leasing agents, and maintenance technicians), and suppliers that provide a host of products and services within our industry. Working hand in hand; members of the AACO work together on a daily basis for the benefit of all members as well as the rental public. As a member of AACO, you automatically become a member of the Oklahoma Multi Housing Association and the National Apartment Association as well and gain access to their services and assistance.
