Rocky Hill Grange is a community service family organization. The Grange holds regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month starting at 7pm. The Grange Hall is available for rental by organizations, including clubs such as the Italo-American Women's Club as well as practice space for the Rhode Island Highlanders pipe band club. The Varnum Continentals is an organization that honors the American Revolutionary Army and the Continental Regiments commanded by General James Mitchell Varnum. In 1913, the Varnum Continentals built the Armory that served as their headquarters and houses an extensive collection of military and naval artifacts.
The home that James Mitchell Varnum built in 1773 is now a museum operated by the Varnum Continentals and may be visted by appointment. The Varnum Continentals hosts events at both the Armory and the Varnum House Museum and can be seen marching at various public affairs such as the Veteran's Day Parade.
