The Auto Works is a full-service auto repair and smog check center in central Ramona just off Main Street. Part of the shop is devoted to bicycle repair and sales, specializing in downhill, all-mountain, cross-country, dirt-jump and free-ride bikes. It hasa wide selection of Norco mountain bikes.
Prestige Collision Center is located in downtown Ramona on Main Street next to Eiler Tire and Brakes. This is a full service auto body repair shop. They offer free estimates, a lifetime warranty on their services, 24-hour towing, auto detailing, and free pick-up and delivery. All insurance companies are welcome. Advanced Auto Service Center may be a small shop, a one-bay garage on 10th Street two blocks north of Main Street, but they can do everything the large shops can do. Mechanic Al Horrall can work on foreign and domestic cars, SUVs and light trucks, including scheduled maintenance and repairs on brakes, transmissions, engines, A/C, radiators and more. The one thing Horrall doesn't do is smog tests. He works Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., but can arrange his hours if a customer needs to come in early or late.
Glenn's Automotive is located on Main Street in Downtown Ramona in the same shopping center as Stallion Custom Auto Design. Locally owned and operated since 1991, Glenn himself will greet you at the door and give you a fair estimate for the repairs needed on your automobile. He provides general automotive repair, diesel engine repair, standard transmission repair, clutch repair, brakes and more on most makes and models.
Basel's Body and Frame is on A Street just east of Pine Street in central Ramona. The shop does body work on foreign and domestic cars, trucks, motorcycles and SUVs. Besides body and frame work, Basel's also repairs and replaces windows and windshields. The friendly staff works in a clean, well-lit garage with an outdoor lift in front.
Charlie's Garage is located in a residential neighborhood in central Ramona, across the street from Silverado Apartments on 14th Street. The medium-size garage works on foreign and domestic cars, trucks and SUVs, with services ranging from oil changes to engine rebuilds. Charlie's can also do tuneups, electrical work, A/C service and brake work.
