For vacationers from far away or across the street, Bear's Lair Bed and Breakfast provides luxurious accomodations in a quiet, forested corner of Key Peninsula. Bear's Lair Bed and Breakfast has a guesthouse with a fully equipped kitchen available for large groups as well as single and double rooms for those travelling alone or as a couple. A full gourmet breakfast made from locally grown foods is included in the room rate, and special diets can be accomodated when advance notice is given.
Gig Harbor Yacht Club has supported safe, family boating since 1957. The club is located within easy walking distance of everything downtown Gig Harbor has to offer. Dinner meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month September through June. The clubhouse is available to rent for receptions, private parties, corporate functions and meetings.
Located behind Jax Salon and Spa in downtown Gig Harbor, the marina has been serving avid boaters for decades. Gig Harbor is the only local facility that offers a full-service marina/boat yard; the latter is owned by two local families. Its bathroom and dock are both handicapped-accessible; however, there is no ramp in front of the entrance. Dogs on the property must be leashed and open-fire cooking is not allowed.
