Family Bible Fellowship has programs dedicated to serving its members and the community such as its ministries for youth, family and stewardship.

According to Chaplain Dave Hanson, Pastor James Tippins is devoted to his congregation and is considered a "techno-pastor" who manages the church's website and Facebook page. The First Baptist Church serves its large Afghan population with events like the Afghan Family Thanksgiving Dinner. The church also offers Spanish-language Bible study classes. Chaplain Hanson says about 15% of the church's funds are used to support missionary programs around the world. Neighbors are welcome to use the church's basketball courts and fields, says Chaplain Hanson.
