Midwest Baptist Church was established in 1999 and believe that to serve God is to serve the people. The church provides food to needy families and assistance to burn-out victims. It also hosts clothing drives for families and supports worldwide missions and church planting activities whenever possible. In addition, the church hosts a children's ministry and classes for men and women, as well as sponsors a local nursing home ministry for seniors. Midwest supports local and worldwide missions, donating resources to spreading the Gospel.
First Union M B Church has been a part of the Ford Heights Community since 1932. This beautiful church serves under the leadership of Pastor Robert Foster. He has been serving as pastor since 2002.
Pastor Foster is very involved in the community. He has several evangelistic projects that run throughout the year to help those who are in need. He offers a 24-hour kitchen pantry that serves food for the hungry. And during the holiday season he distributes toys through his Toy Call Ministry.
