Established in 1996 in Juneau, Alaska, as a premier waterfront restaurant, The Hangar on The Wharf specializes in seafood and Alaskan beer. It is located in Juneaus historic Merchants Wharf Mall, which used to be the home of Alaska Coastal Airlines in the 1940s. The restaurant offers a full range of catering and banquet services for weddings, reunion parties and business meetings. The Hangar on The Wharf organizes live music programs on weekends by various musicians from all over the country. In addition, rock bands play on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant also features a pub that offers more than 100 types of beer, including 20 on tap. Its menu additionally includes salads, sandwiches, pasta, burgers, appetizers and entrees.
