In 1973, owner Glen "Rube" Rubenbauer opened up a small tavern with the idea of offering people the best steaks possible and letting them grill it themselves. Word spread fast and before he knew it the small tavern had turned into a full time steak shipping business. Menu items here include upscale American steakhouse fare, from appetizers like wings, nachos and artichoke cheese dip, to steaks, seafood, pastas and cheesecake for dessert. The restaurant also features a full bar. The restaurant serves dinner nightly, and lunch is available by special arrangement for private parties.
The company is proud to offer completely fresh, never frozen, steaks. The steaks are handcut, vacuum sealed, insulated with cooling packs and shipped 2-day to any location.
