Hoptron Brewtique specializes in craft beer (the owners are self-described "geeks" about craft beer) and sells it by the growler or pint, with 16 selections to choose from at any time. Nine of those selections always feature craft beers produced on Long Island. In addition, Hoptron also stocks home-brewing supplies for those who would like to try their hand at beer making, and classes are offered on home brewing, pairing beers with cheeses and more. Hoptron does serve pints of beer, but its main focus is growler sales, which are for off-site consumption.
