Hop Jack's, "A Neighborhood Gathering Place," is located off of Highway 410 in Bonney Lake. It is part restaurant and part bar, creating an atmosphere where people can gather together to enjoy good food a cold beer. The beer dispensing system is unlike anything found in the Bonney Lake area; all beer leaves the tap at a chilling 27 degrees and, to top it off, is served in an icy mug. Hop Jack's also serves Icy Martini's, as shown in the photographs. There is a daily happy hour in the bar from 2pm to 6pm, as well as from 9pm until close.
Dan has been the owner of Darrell's Tavern since October of 2009. He is very proud of the building and claims that it has been up and running since 1967, before Shoreline grew to the size that is is now. The tagline on Dan's business card reads "Where your dad used to drink". The bar features live music on most Friday and Saturday nights, and has DJs on the turntables the other nights of the week. There are two pool tables, and a flat screen TV which is usually featuring a big game.
