Bathing Beaches in Milford, Connecticut

Walnut Beach features sand for sunbathers and a pier for fishing. There is also plenty of shade under the Devon Rotary Pavilion and nearby picnic benches with canopies.  The beach boasts one of Connecticut's longest boardwalks. Visitors can enjoy watching boats zoom across the Long Island Sound or seagulls spreading their wings along the shoreline.

At this sandy beach, visitors are free to walk the strand, swim and bathe in the waters of Long Island Sound, or simply sit and soak up the sun and enjoy the gentle breezes. There are concession stands and public restrooms.
