This faith community believes that the "life of faith is a journey, a process. Therefore, we are devoted to living in the gospel as well as living out the gospel. Living Word Preschool & Elementary is part of the Living Word Christian School system, serving children from Pre-K through to the 5th grade in St. Charles and St. Louis counties. The children at this school are provided with a broad curriculum which includes, in addition to academic classes, activities which foster creativity through writing, singing and concentrating.
The Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC) is the fourth largest Lutheran church body in the U.S. This church is located across from Medicine Lake in Plymouth. It is headquarters to over 270 member congregations. AFLC is a fellowship of independent congregations.
