Helen's Cycles sits at the corner of a large outdoor shopping complex just off Rosecrans Avenue, near the Marriott Hotel. The chain has been in existence since 1936, and this location has been around since 1999. As expected, the store offers a large selection of bicycles, including beach cruisers and kiddie bikes, with a special emphasis on high-end road and mountain bikes. The shop does not offer rentals, but does have an on-site repair center where you can patch a tire or get a full tune-up. In addition to bikes, Helen's Cycles carries a full range of cycling accessories and clothing, including shorts, helmets and gloves.
