The Bowman dairy barn built in 1844 has been the site of Frank's Bicycle Barn since 1972. One of three locations, Frank's sells and repairs bikes and sells bicycle accessories and clothing. The store carries several brands, including Trek. Frank's takes pride in finding the right bike for each customer.
Bicycle shops come and go but Martha's Bicycles has been in business since 1957. Its current owners, Dave Gilbert and Ed Mullen, purchased the business in 1995. They have made this shop the place to go for anything to do with bicycles. And they must be doing the right things because Market Surveys of America voted it Best of Plymouth from 2005 through 2010. It carries all types of bicycles, including racing bikes, mountain bikes, kids' bikes and bicycles for the casual biker. You will also find the accesories you need along with expert advice from the owners. It offers free parking on the street and easy access to the highway.
