The Physician and Midwife Collaborative Practice is the group practice of several obstetricians and nurse-midwives dedicated to providing medical care that emphasizes the patient-provider relationship. Services include prenatal visits, including blood tests and sonograms, labor support and birth care. During birth, each patient is cared for by one physician and one midwife.
Physicians for Women houses five physicians who have a combined 72 years of training and 85 years of practice and have delivered more than 900 babies. The office is capable of handling infertility, menopause issues, reproductive endocrinology, adolescent gynecology, among other health concerns.
OB/GYN Associates is a team of board certified obstetricians and gynecologists practicing in Kingstowne. Drs. Aditi Agarwal, Marion Bissell, Tina Pham and Jennifer Santiago specialize in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecological surgery, reproductive care and general women's wellness. The doctors are associated with Alexandria Hospital, where they are on staff and perform surgery. Most insurance plans are accepted, and the doctors are currently accepting new patients. Capital Women's Care is the obstetrics and gynecology practice of Peter G. Rothschild, Gina C. Hibshman, Damon Hou, Michael B. Kusic and Vincent Policelli. With four office locations, the physicians serve most of the Northern Virginia area. Hours are by appointment, with on-call, evening and emergency service. The doctors are affiliated and on-staff at Inova Mount Vernon and Inova Fair Oaks Hospitals.
