Its been said that the health of a nation is measured by the health of its women. This is one of the many reasons I chose Obstetrics and Gynecology as my specialty. It is important that my patients feel respected, empowered, and heard when it comes to their health concerns. I strive to achieve this by providing evidence-based, personalized, compassionate care.Whether you are trying to become pregnant, prevent pregnancy, are already pregnant, are approaching or experiencing menopause, have a gynecologic issue, are healthy and in need of preventative healthcare, or in need of a gynecologic surgery, I am here to help you. I enjoy the many facets of womens healthcare and stay informed on the latest information and treatment recommendations.I am an OB/GYN specialist who attended an Osteopathic medical school prior to completing residency. I was drawn to the Osteopathic philosophy of looking at patients as a whole, emotional, and physical being, and integrating patients into the health care process as their partner. Having completed additional training in physical medicine I am able to effectively treat pelvic pain in pregnant patients as well as diagnose and treat patients with gynecologic related pelvic pain.I enjoy working with women from all cultures and backgrounds. I have participated in several international healthcare projects and am conversant in Spanish. I look forward to raising my two wonderful girls, serving Seattles thriving womens community, and continuing meaningful global health work.
