We are a firearms store and handgun range located in southeastern Michigan. Our business hours are 10 am 8 pm, Monday through Saturday, and Noon 6 pm on Sunday. We are closed only on major National holidays. We do not close on bank holidays like our competitors do. We carry a full line of firearms to provide for any situation. Whether it is that rifle for your next hunt, a shotgun for the skeet range, or a handgun for self-defense, our knowledgeable sales staff will help you choose the firearm that best suits your needs. We also stock a wide variety of accessories, such as holsters, rifle scopes, extra magazines, firearm cleaning supplies, reloading equipment and components, black powder accessories, an excellent selection of ammunition, and just about anything else you will need. What we do not have in stock can be special ordered, and usually received within one or two days. Our 25-yard indoor pistol range, with automated target controls, has ten shooting positions that can accommodate most handguns, all rimfire rifles, and centerfire rifles that shoot traditional handgun calibers. The entire range was renovated in 2002, with a completely new backstop installed, as well as new target controls and improved lighting. The backstop is a Caswell Grantrap, which is a specially designed system of rubber pellets that practically eliminates lead dust created when a bullet strikes a traditional steel backstop. No lead dust in the air means that no lead dust gets in the lungs of our shooters. The target retrieval system is a Caswell Cas-Rail system, which carries the target down range on a steel rail, rather than a cable that bounces up and down. The target can be positioned anywhere from zero to 25 yards from the shooter. Shooting range fees are currently $11.00 per hour and $8.00 per half hour, with a law enforcement rate of $8.00 per hour ( badge or uniform required ).
