Our company specializes in residential and commercial construction as well as remodeling and renovation work. Our diversity in the construction field is a rare characteristic in itself. Estimates are presented in precise, clear form, accompanied with job photos and/or plans and specifications. We think of your home or business as a place you live or work in, not a construction site. Because of this reason, our craftsmen are neat and uniformed. No job is completed until all work related debris is removed from you premises, with floors swept and/or vacuumed. Dennis & Sons Builders was established in 1976 and is owned and operated by Dennis R. Seramur. Mr. Seramurs construction experience started in the early 1970s with a 4 year carpentry apprenticeship. He later worked for several construction companies in the Lake and Porter County areas in the capacity of Carpentry Foreman and Project Superintendent. These duties included the supervision of as many as 30 men, material ordering, scheduling subcontractors, supervising their work, and maintaining a construction schedule that coincided with the projects budget. These years of experience have provided Dennis with the ability not only to understand competitive pricing, but also, to know when a job is being properly and correctly completed. An analogy that may best describe the position of a general contractor would be to imagine yourself as the conductor of an orchestra where each and every musician of the orchestra work at different trades, therefore it is our responsibility, as your General Contractor, to bring unity and harmony to the project. For this reason we are very selective with the subcontractors we employ and our hourly employees that are the backbone of our company. This assures you, the customer, the highest quality of workmanship and the satisfaction of knowing that your project will be completed in a timely and workmanlike manner.
