The Green Design Center (GDC) owner and "Green Building Supplies Expert," Andrew Pace opened the business 11 years ago in Waukesha, but has been working in this field for almost 20 years. Formerly known as Safe Building Solutions, the company is a distributor and retailer of "green" home-improvement products to create "non-toxic environments"(R).
GDC provides design services and works with designers, architects, builders and homeowners. The Center periodically offers construction and interior-design classes and seminars, and Pace travels the country as an expert speaker on these topics.
A second location is located in Antigo, Wisconsin.
