Mossberg & Company is-and always will be-primarily a printer. The printer specializes in presentation-level color-critical labels and marketing materials, printed on one of its state-of-the-art multi-color Heidelberg presses. Mossberg offers personal service and attention to detail at every phase of the production process. And with services like in-house scanning, proofreading, computer-to-plate technology and proprietary color development, the company ensures the project is ready before it starts putting ink on paper. Its bank of presses features three 40-inch sheet fed presses (one 8-color press and two 6-color presses) and one 29-inch 6-color press, all of which will comfortably print up to 300-line screens. Both of Mossberg s 40-inch 6-color presses also can apply U.V. coating for extra protection and design flexibility. Mossberg introduced high-end digital printing to its customers in 1995 in response to increasing demand for higher quality, fast turnaround printing services. Its HP 3000 produces short-run four-color process flyers, brochures and labels directly from the desktop without the need for film or plates. Mossberg & Company is located in South Bend, Ind.
