Steege's Meat Market West, opened in 1996, brought home the Iowa State Championship prize for its beef snack sticks in 2010. The market does slaughtering, custom butchering and offers locker service. Its fresh meat case is filled with cuts of beef and pork and its own sausages. It will bring in poultry upon special request.
