Disney-ABC Networks Group is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. Founded in 1923, The Walt Disney Company is divided into four business segments: Studio Entertainment, Parks and Resorts, Consumer Products and Media Networks. The Studio Entertainment division distributes animated features and motion pictures through a group of companies, including Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Miramax Films and Buena Vista home Entertainment. The Parks and Resorts division operates more than 10 theme parks, 35 resort hotels and two cruise ships.
