Bring your laptop, stay awhile and access our free wireless internet. College Hill Coffee has Winfield original art and books for sale. Photographer Gary Hanna has a collection of Greeting Cards available for purchase. We have books by local authors, Michael Tessmers book Searcing for Anabela, and Barbara Kellys childrens books Rhoda, the Run Away Chicken and Ellasense Misses the Train to purchase as well. Look at the note cards for sale by Bob Lewis. Take home a Wurley Gourd ; buy a bowl or ornament made from a variety of locally grown and designed gourds. College Hill Coffee first opened its doors in October 2001 at 420 College Street. CHC offered a friendly atmosphere and a quiet place for students, community members, and neighbors to relax. It quickly began to grow and by customer request, CHC began serving lunch in addition to coffee products and baked goods. Owner Blenda Hoskinson soon realized an expansion was needed. Renovation of the Arts & Crafts Bungalow at 403 Soward began Spring of 2002 leaving much of the homelike atmosphere intact. As of October 4, 2003 CHC had a new home.
