Caladesi Island State Park boasts one of Pinellas County's pristine beaches. Visitors can swim, snorkel, go shelling and even picnic on the island. The only way to go there is by the Caladesi Island Adventure Ferry, which departs from Honeymoon Island State Park. It takes 30 minutes on the ferry to get there, and visitors can stay on the island four hours at a time. It has beach chairs and umbrellas, restrooms, concession stands, shaded pavilion, boardwalks and three-mile hiking trail.
Bay Aire RV Park has been in business since the 1960s and offers a variety of services for RV owners. The facility has space for 160 RVs up to 42 feet in length and offers full hook ups, picnic tables, propane and free Wi-Fi. The park is also pet friendly and offers hot showers and a swimming pool. It is perfectly located near the Pinellas Trail and is a great spot for those who like cycling or walking. For those less active the site also runs activities such as bingo, cards and shuffleboard.
