Located on the 150-acre campus of the Ross School, SummerCamp @Ross provides a fun and unique summer experience for campers ranging from age 3 to 14. The camp offers a well-rounded program with explorations in sports, science, art and performance.
Hampton Country Day Camp is a summer camp on Buckskill Road in East Hampton. The camp has an elaborate facility on a 24 acre wooded, gated property. There are two heated swimming pools, basketball courts, a baseball field, soccer fields, a volleyball court and "gaga" courts. In the art studio, ceramics, bead and jewelry making, painting, and drawing are offered. There is also a stage for dance and drama lessons. The camp is affiliated with East Hampton Indoor Tennis.
Stages Childrens Theater Workshop is an East Hampton-based arts program for children between the ages of 7-18. Stage offers drama, music, dance, radio, television and live theater camps and programs, hosting a number of performances for friends and family throughout the year. A summer day camp, Camp Karole has been held at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons for almost 35 years. There are four one-week sessions in July and August for children 3 to 11 years old. Many of the campers return as counselors. In fact, the camp director was one of the original 3-years-olds who attended when the camp started. Campers receive water instruction in the pool at the center, which is used exclusively for the camp; take part in sports on the fields; and participate in drama, music, and arts and crafts. They also take field trips to bowl, kayak, golf, play at the beach and visit local attractions. There were about 200 attendees in 2010. The camp offers pick-up and drop-off from stops in Water Mill, Sagaponack, in the Northwest Woods section of East Hampton and Amagansett.
