The Cancer Treatment Center specializes in chemotherapy and radiation therapy. It consists of various medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, radiographers and certified oncology nurses. Founded in 1986, the center also operates a therapeutic learning center that offers brochures, books and videos on cancer. The center s registered clinical nutritionists offer diet tips and other patient education services. The Cancer Treatment Center, with a location in Swansea, Ill., also operates a center in Sparta, Ill. Its facilities are equipped with linear accelerators, radio cameras and modern imaging machines. The Cancer Treatment Center is also certified by the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program and American College of Radiology.
