Vinnie and Linda Balcuns have owned Balcuns Service Center on North Main Street in East Hampton for 18 years. The automotive repairs and towing company also sells Getty gasoline. The shop is located just before the fork at Springs Fireplace Road and Three Mile Harbor Road.
Cars East opened in March 2010 at the Empire Gas Station on North Main Street. Barry Bisso and Alex Colonna, the mechanics and owners, work on imported and domestic cars, motorcycles and trucks. They are quickly becoming the shop to go to for motorcycle repair and inspections. They also offer a wash-and-wax detail and arrangements can be made to pick up your car for service. A blue Doberman Pinscher is the shop's friendly mascot.
Located in the garage at the American gas station on the corner of Montauk Highway and Toilsome Lane, East End Auto Corporation is privately owned and operated by Edgar Quizhpe, who also lives in the community and has been a mechanic for 30 years. As this is a very small shop, customers get a one-on-one consultations.
