Cardiac disease can be a complex, stressful, and sometimes overwhelming burden to our patients. The concern for disease can start with something you feel, a test finding, or a family history. Unfortunately there is often an active disease that has caused problems or puts you at risk. In all of these situations, our patients have the right to receive information and UNDERSTAND their condition. Spending the needed time and providing education is of utmost importance. Patients and their families need to be able to be relieved of their concerns, when possible, and, when needed, make informed decisions on how to treat their conditions. These treatments all come with their own benefits, risks, and likely outcomes. Modern cardiology offers information and treatment we didnt have in the past and offers new options, better outcomes, and more decisions every year. This comes with a burden of complexity for our patients. It is my expectation that our office, our providers, and I work with you as a team to help you navigate these decisions to match your needs and personal preferences while providing quality cardiac care.
