Cathedral of Mary Our Queen is an enormous, ornate cathedral with soaring ceilings and stained glass windows. The church has programs for all ages, a school, a library and is very active in the surrounding community. If you are interested in joining the congregation, registration is available online, and meet-and-greets are held regularly at rotating church members' homes to encourage a sense of community and support.
Saints Philip & James Catholic Church is one of the most unique structures in Charles Village. The church, which is located less than a mile from Johns Hopkins University, serves parishoners throughout the university and North Baltimore communities.
St. Michael the Archangel is an Overlea landmark and an anchor in the neighborhood since 1914. The church has roughly 950 parishioners and is very involved with the community. Weekend masses are also offered in Spanish.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Church is a parish in the Hampden neighborhood just west of the Johns Hopkins University Campus. They provide liturgical ministries, social outreach and groups, and religious education programs. They have a strong devotion to youth ministry and seek to minister to the needs of diverse peoples.
