Established in 1994, Monarch Cement of Iowa is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Monarch Cement Company. Monarch Cement of Iowa is a clinker grinding facility that operates several kilns and was a wet process plant. The company maintains a fleet of rail hopper cars, bottom dump trailers and pneumatic trucks to distribute cement. Its storage banks have capacity for more than 66,000 tons of cement products. Monarch Cement of Iowa employs over 10 individuals. The company s facility features a truck unloading lot, shop, powerhouse and office. It offers cement assessment services for various properties, such as hazardous substance, vapor density, air content and chemicals.
Mack Industries has been making quality precast concrete since 1932. Based in Valley City, Ohio, the company provides a broad range of concrete products and services, including precast concrete wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, oil/water separators and containment systems. Precast concrete systems are available in modular, multi-cell tanks; rectangular, chamber-type, precast wall panels and cap walkways; or post tensioned circular type tanks. In addition to its headquarters in Valley City, Mack has several plant locations throughout the region. It has extended its sales to cover a multi-state area, including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
