Pet Cemeteries & Crematories in New York

Cedar Grove Cemetery is NOT a "national cemetery". It's a non-sectarian cemetery open to all people. We are NOT a"Pet" cemetery and we do not have a crematory on the property. There are no bathrooms available. We are open from 7AM to 7PM. The Cemetery can remain CLOSED if there is a lot of snow and there are no burials scheduled. This is done for two reasons: First, SAFETY. Second: The State of New York regulates us. We are a not-for-profit cemetery and we do have to watch how our money is spent. If we can save some money by not plowing snow, then we must do so. We do, however, try to get the cemetery opened as soon as we can. None of us that work here are salaried employees. We are ALL volunteers.
