MEGA Brands America has acquired RoseArt Industries, which was founded in 1923 when Isidor Rosen founded the Rosebud Art Company in New York City. Initially, Rosebud focused on the print and production of coloring books. Throughout the next 20 years, the company sold novelties, American flags, and the beginnings of its new line of art supplies. Today, as MEGA Brands America, the company offers more than 750 products, which include crayons, markers, paints, molding compounds, cosmetics, activity kits, and licensed products.
