This Goodwill Donation Express provides a fast and convenient way to donate household items and clothing. It accepts most everything except large appliances such as refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers. Customers can simply drive up to the store and one of the Goodwill employees will come out to unload the items. The Elks is also a charitable foundation that gives away millions of dollars each year toward scholarships, youth programs, drug awareness programs and veterans' programs.
The Encinitas Elks Lodge offers plenty of activities for its members, including weekly dinners, daily happy hours, special-event parties, pool tournaments and Bingo. The lodge can be rented to nonmembers for business meetings or family events.
The Alameda Elks Lodge 1015 is a local organization that is the part of the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. As a fraternal order, members must be sponsored by two other Elks. This facility has a catering kitchen, banquet and meeting areas, a gym, a card room and a full bar.
Congregation Emanu El is a Jewish synagogue located along Ford Street in Redlands. It is part of a newer development that houses many various offices. Emanu El offers Saturday services as well as school meetings each Wednesday evening. There are also other various meetings and events held throughout each week for both congregation members and guests. It has a choir and some mission programs, in addition to the youth and study groups that meet each week. Emanu El also makes sure to reach out to the community to ensure all neighbors and neighborhoods are taken care of as well.

Nia House provides a Montessori curriculum to a diverse group of children ages 18 months to six years in the hopes of educating them in the values of peace, understanding and equality at an early age. The Montessori learning method has stood the test of time and space, having been developed in Italy more than a century ago, and focuses on freedom within limits for children who are thus incited to learn from themselves.
