This facility houses up to 50 adolescent girls ages 13-18 who have either been placed in the facility by the Florida Department of Children & Families or by parents who need assistance with their troubled daughters.  Licensed therapists offer individual counseling and group therapy sessions, and a psychiatrist visits weekly to oversee medication and to provide individualized special counseling.  With a staff-client ratio of six to one, the staff monitors the girls 24 hours a day.  While in the program, the girls will learn how to problem-solve, money management, and how to get the skills they need to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society.  The facility has an extensive "aftercare" program to follow-up with former residence and monitor their progress.
