Cupcakes for Courage was founded by Kathryn and Laura Pekarik with the intent of supporting research for cancer. The sisters have kept their promise, with proceeds from their cupcake sales going to the Ride Janie Ride Foundation and other research and community organizations. C for C carries a bandwagon full of flavors ranging from dark chocolate-chocolate to black and white to Mama's Java to key lime pie.

This is a nationwide, non-profit Greek-American organization that focuses on preserving the Greek language and heritage. It supports the Greek Orthodox Church and Arcadian-American educational institutions.
Citizen Advocacy Center is a nonprofit, nonpartisan community legal organization dedicated to building democracy. Lawyers and volunteers focus on educating the public on their rights as citizens, encouraging them to participate in civic affairs, building community resources and improving democratic protocols. Visitors to the CAC office at 182 N. York Road can receive free written material and ask lawyers questions on matters of public concern. The CAC executive director is attorney Terry Pastika. She regularly facilitates seminars throughout the Chicago area to teach the public how to use the law to have a voice in their community. The organization was founded by attorney Theresa Amato in 1993. She is currently board president.
Elmhurst Walk-In Ministry is a community organization that hosts fundraisers as well as emergency assistance for Elmhurst residents, families with children in Elmhurst schools, members of participating churches, PADS guests with a written referral and transients on a one-time-only basis.
