About PSA The Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association is dedicated to preserving the time honored Office of Sheriff in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association is the information source for the Sheriffs of Pennsylvania. We are vigilant to protect and fight for PA Sheriffs rights to perform their sworn duty to protect and serve you, and all citizens of Pennsylvania, through legislation and the judicial system. We are dedicated to assisting our sixty-seven County Sheriffs in acquiring the education and training required for law enforcement officers. With your help and generosity, you can support the Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association in providing quality training statewide to supplement the training available to Sheriffs beyond their County budgets. Courtroom security updates, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Methamphetamine Lab Awareness training, Jail Evacuation, Improvised Explosive Devices, Courtroom Bombings, Flying While Armed Certification, and Deputy Involved Shooting and Critical Incident Management are just some examples of the training hosted and provided by the Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association that our Sheriffs have enthusiastically attended. We rely on the generous contributions of our members that enable us to provide this essential training to our 67 County Sheriffs. If you are currently a member of the Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association, we thank you for your generous support!
