The company was founded and is still operated by the original owners, John Crane, Patricia Crane and Linda Beecham. Together they have a combined knowledge of over 40 years in the chemical field. UCI has grown from 2 employees to over 150 employees, with a product line of over 300 items. UCI was named as one of the fastest growing companies in the Kansas City metropolitan area 3 years in a row. Since 1990 UCI has formulated and manufactured their products and in 1993 they started shipping products worldwide.
