Founded in 1970, Appleton Christian Church is a nondenominational church that uses the Bible as the basis of its faith. Located in Grand Junction, Colo., its Sunday worship services begin by singing songs of praise and thanksgiving to God. The church uses a variety of songs including hymns and choruses, led by teams of volunteer singers usually accompanied by guitar or piano. An open communion is shared on a weekly basis. Additionally, the church offers complimentary coffee/tea, attended nursery for second service, prayer room, cry room equipped with audio feed from the service and assisted hearing devices. The Appleton Christian Church operates ministries which include student ministries, women/mens ministry, seniors ministry, Care Net, camp Christian and share fest.
