From babies to senior citizens, the Cedar Blvd. Neighborhood Church has been serving the Newark community for the last 30 years. It was formerly known as the Fremont Neighborhood Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and it moved to its current location 5 years ago. Senior Pastor Joel Mattson-Boze and his ministry staff support their members through prayer services, recovery programs, classes and more. In addition to Sunday worship services, Cedar Blvd. Neighborhood Church offers Vietnamese and Chinese language services. The church manages the King's Kids Preschool and the Stellar Academy for Dyslexics. The Cedar Blvd. Neighborhood Church is part of the  Christian and Missionary Alliance. In operation for more than 200 years, it has a music team that leads songs with guitar and piano accompaniment.
