The Friendship Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school. It serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Students are accepted from within the region and beyond. It offers a full curriculum and athletics programs in basketball, cross country and cheerleading. Students must also complete community service hours as part of their education.
This is a beautiful, thriving Jewish temple located in Sandy Springs. It has 800 members in the congregation. It is open on Sunday for religious school, Friday night services are at 8pm, and there is a shabbat service on a Saturday morning at 10am, and once a month there is a congregational dinner followed by service. It has a large social hall, which is available for rental. It also offers study groups, choir and music programs, youth programs, preschool, and missionary programs. Beverly Brown is the executive director. It has been at this location for the past 30 years and it is the only synagogue in Sandy Springs. The Senior Rabbi is Julie S. Schwartz.
With a congregation of over 2,000, historic Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a staple of the community. Its new and improved facility houses 8 choirs, each of which serves a different function for the 48 ministries. The addition of a youth center, Latin ministries and ongoing renovations of the church building have helped Zion Missionary continue to grow in ways to better serve its community.
Fairfield Baptist Church is a place of worship, praise and service to God. The church offers worship service twice each Sunday, bible study on Wednesday, Sunday school and Monday night prayer service.
