This Jewish worship center exists on lakefront property just off of Sheridan Road in Glencoe. North Shore Congregation Israel was founded in 1920 as a branch of the Classical Reform Sinai Congregation but split with Sinai four years later. Led by Rabbi Steven S. Mason, NSCI is a progressive Jewish community that offers a place of worship and Jewish education for North Shore families. NCSI also provides a Jewish education program for children newborn through four years.
Temple Chai is a Reform Jewish synagogue and community center. In addition to its regular Shabbat services, the organization offers various programs throughout the year for members of all ages. We pray for continued spiritual growth as a faith-based community through worship, fellowship, evangelism, and community service. As we celebrate 25 years in the DuPage community, we remember what that means in terms of our struggles and victories. Ours is a congregation that greatly anticipates that because of our strong faith and wise stewardship, and because of Gods grace, He will continue to trust us with more of His work to do.

For more than 30 years, the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago (HTGC), also known as the Rama Temple, has been serving thousands of Hindu families in the Chicagoland area. Located near the Des Plaines River Valley, the complex consists of two temples: the Rama temple and Ganesha-Shiva-Durga temple, both of which were constructed by artisans and builders from India.
The HTGC offers priest services by appointment, but is open for worship Monday - Friday, 9am - 9pm. The temple holds monthly classes and special events, such as yoga and meditation, music festivals and Sunday School for children. It is also open to people outside the Hindu religion. The architecture and rich cultural experience make it a must-see destination in Lemont. Groups of five or more can schedule tours from 10am to 11:30am by calling 630-972-0300.
